Message	but rather proper resources. It takes lots of cash to R&D a part and then obtain and enforce a patent. This cost is added to the part cost which in turn makes it too expensive, therefore enticing some unscrupulous dirtbag to undermine the original innovator and have the part duped in China where the patent can't realistically be enforced anyways.
